Prayer is the conversation of our hearts to God or a request that we make to God on our behalf or on the behalf of others.

We pray, not to be seen and heard by men but to be seen and heard by the Living God. We must approach God in sincerity, inadequate in our own strength, with a confident expectation of knowing that God will answer the cry of our humble heart.

Psalm 18:6 In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry for help before Him came into His ears.
